Spinach New Zealand Perennial 100 Seeds
Perennial Spinach. The plant has a bush like posture and is very large and spreading. Leaves are small, thick, triangular and dark green. It is suitable for home gardens. It is recommended for adverse conditions as it is very resistant to heat and drought.
Spinach grows best in cooler weather and quickly runs to seed in warm weather. Can be sown in Fall/Autumn and overwintered if protected by mulch. Not recommended to grow in warm areas. Alternatives suitable for warm areas are Swiss Chard (Silverbeet) or NZ spinach. (Which we also sell).
